Accessibility Works was designed by the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to help businesses across Ontario be informed about their responsibilities under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Customer Service Standard.
It is a valuable resource for learning more about the AODA and what organizations needs to do in order to comply with the Customer Service Standard.
The AODA was passed in 2005 with the goal of making Ontario accessible for people with disabilities by 2025. Virtually every business in Ontario needs to comply with the Customer Service Standard of the AODA by January 1st, 2012.
